Theraplay TMX Children’s Tricycle

A robust tricycle designed to accommodate the larger and heavier child. The TMX has 20″ wheels, a calliper brake with a parking brake mechanism and has a frame folding mechanism option which allows the frame to be folded for transportation and storage.

Additional Features Available:

In-Line Trunk supports with lateral pads

Use the lateral pads and back support where the cyclist needs more upper trunk support. The backrest is adjustable up and down, with independent lateral being able to be locked in position when adjusted to suit the rider.

Medium Foot sandals with pulley system

Foot sandals (internal length 7.1/2” shoe length) help hold the foot in position on the pedal and have velcro straps to maintain position when cycling.

Rear Steering Mechanism

The mechanism links the front and rear wheels to a rear steering pole to enable the attendant to assist to steer in the right direction while learning to ride. The mechanism and rear steering pole can be easily removed as confidence grows.

A free-wheel option is also available when the rider is tired allowing you to push the trike along without the riders legs continuing to rotate.

Folding Frame

When transporting the trike for trips to the park, holidays or visiting friends the front and rear sections can be easily detached via two locking knobs at the centre of the cross bar.

Comfy grip Handlebars

Not everyone is comfortable with a standard handle bar. The comfy grip is padded and each handle can be indecently adjusted to suit the riders needs and posture.

Enclosed chain guard

Ensures clothes keep clear of the chain.
