Who Can Take Advantage of The Motability Scheme?

The Motability scheme is available to people who receive one of the following:

  • Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
  • Enhanced Rate Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
  • War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
  • The Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)

The way The Motability Scheme works is simple and straightforward. All you need to do is choose the scooter or wheelchair you want (eligible products are displayed on the product page) and then get in touch with us. We will discuss your needs and requirements to ensure you are selecting an appropriate product.

We will then visit you to provide a free of charge demonstration. Then you can decide whether to go ahead with it or not. If you can’t choose just one of our amazing items, we will happily bring more with us!

Benefits of The Motability Scheme

The great thing about leasing through the Motability Scheme is it removes all the stress of owning the mobility product yourself. Rather than worrying about paying for annual maintenance and servicing appointments, these are all covered by our in-house team at no extra cost.

If you do decide that you would like to take part in The Motability Scheme, here is a list of some of the benefits:

  • Powered wheelchair or mobility scooter for three years which is then replaced with a new one after that
  • Three years’ comprehensive insurance for mobility scooters available
  • Three years’ full parts and labour warranty
  • No call out charges for repairs
  • Annual servicing
  • Replacement batteries and tyres included
  • Puncture repair included
  • 24-hour breakdown recovery service
