What Is LiteGait?
LiteGait is unique partial weight bearing device that enables the therapist to support posture, balance and weight simultaneously. This means that LiteGait will safely and effectively support clients, thereby allowing the therapist to focus entirely on facilitating their clients’ needs and rehabilitation programme.
Ollie also helped install the ‘GaitKeeper’ treadmill with ‘Gaitsens’ gait analysis software. This amazing equipment allows therapists to record live feedback, which is then projected to a tablet device giving a wide range of data, including; step length, step width, swing time, symmetry and how much weight is being dispersed through each step.
Furthermore, the data can all be saved to generate reports, used to monitor progression and can also be used to challenge the client’s weaknesses in a unique and sophisticated way.
LiteGait is manufactured by Mobility Research USA, who are dedicated to providing the latest technology and techniques to maximise the use of their equipment. Ultimately delivering therapy in the most efficient and effective ways.
